Three Spirit have been proud of our niche and limited range of alternative spirits since we started in 2019, it's even in our company name! But expanding it has always been our dream, and now it's official with our range of alternative wines. Meet Blurred Vines.
Inspired by wine, not imitating it
Our aim was to do for wine what we've been doing for spirits; creating an alternative that doesn't imitate the taste, but is its own unique flavour, something reminiscent of the thing it's replacing. If it's imitating anything, it imitates the function of wine, whether it's feeling sparkly with Spark or mellowed out with Sharp. Our game is unlocking the power of plants as the forefront of drinking rituals.
When do I drink it?
We have two wines for two different vibes.
Spark is our bubbly, pink party in a glass. Drink this when celebrating or bringing a treat to that long awaited catch up with your friend. Thank to its natural caffeine from the guayusa, it's designed to perk you up and get you chatty when you need it most.
Sharp is the ultimate healthier option. Not only is this white alternative tasty to wind down with or indulge in on a romantic date night, it's actually a fantastic post-workout replenishment. Full of vitamin B, C and D, electrolytes and three key amino acids: NALT, L-Histidine, and L-theanine.
Food parings
Pair Spark with good olives, salty snacks or smoked fish. Keep ice-cold and serve in champagne flutes, or as a top-up to your favourite apéritif. I also like mine with dark chocolate and raspberries.
Sharp is more of your sit-down-meal drink, but its nuanced flavour means it can be paired with anything from salted nuts to monkfish. Keep cold and serve straight from the fridge in white wine glasses.
You're all about 'three'...so where's the third one?
Alright, you've got us there. Blurred Vines was initially envisioned as another trio, just like our spirits. We have a red alternative that Head of Product and co-founder Dash has been experimenting with alongside his team, but the honest truth is we just weren't satisfied with what we made. Would it make sense to launch a trio? Sure. Would it probably sell? We imagine so. But ultimately the team at Three Spirit can't stand behind a product we don't believe in. We hope eventually that we'll be able to bring a delicious and functional third friend to the Blurred Vines range. Watch this space...!
